    What I downloaded sounds rather like crap.

    Okay. I'm being nice. It Sounds A Lot Like Crap!

    Please check to be sure that the files that you posted are the files that are downloadable. I'm hearing a great deal of digital interference, which could be intentional but is most likely a transmission problem that may have occurred during the File Upload Process.

    Either way… It appears that the file may be damaged.

    Also… Allow me to be the first to point out that the "Remastered Rips of Vintage LPs" have disappeared.

    I know that you know this, I'm just pointing it out as I've not seen it mentioned elsewhere.

    Mine sounds fine (played with Mplayer), except for a sound speed change in the middle of the second track.
    The mediainfo report however shows occasional strange characters in the 'writing library' field, as well as in other past downloads.

    P.S. Me too I'm very sad for the remastered rips of vintage LPs shutdown: hope they can be restored in the future...

    Apologies for the bad rip! No idea what happened. Here is a fresh rip. Done just now.
