The Now Sound

In this post I need your feedback

What do you think about this kind of music?

1) It is the worst attempt ever to do pop music

2) Is the last chance in history of making pop with an orchestra

3) It was born old fashioned already

4) Did the Beatles has something to do with its failure?

Please, just let me know what you think.

Get inspired listening this playlist and share your thoughts.

Strange and Exotic Melodies on Steam's Jukebox Shuffle

Download here:

Steam's Jukebox Shuffle - Strange and Exotic Melodies

About a year ago I put a mix titled Strange & Exotic Melody which was part of a series called Steam's Jukebox Shuffle... well that mix helped to get me my own monthly show Steam's Jukebox Shuffle on radiocore.net which I'm loving, so thank you all!

Anyhow, I've now developed that mix into one of my shows, and it's been one of my most popular so far (and my own personal favourite), so I though it would be nice to share it with you guys and make it available for download here. If your familiar with the original mix, this one has some of the same tunes, but also loads of different stuff too! Hope you dig it!

I've had to split the show into two parts, and I've added the tracklist below.

With this latest Jukebox Shuffle Steam takes you on a musical ride to mystical Shangri-La and beyond! A potpourri of seductive exotica, voodoo rhythms, magical drums, haunting orchestration, strange ululating chanteuses, crooning cool cats, tropical jazz, and lounge music for your soul... dig it baby!

VG 179, more toeters en bellen

Second episode of whirling wind instruments and bells, with a lot of local ensembles this time, one of which is the national celebrity Typhoon. I must warn the die-hard exotica-lovers that he IS in fact a hiphop-artist, but he performs with a bigband here, not the least one either and his lyrics are very tender so I think some clemency is appropriate. Playlist, pictures and links to 'the art of heavy metal marching' and so on can be found at vreemdegeluiden.com.
