Saw this record in a Cambridge MA record store over 20 years ago?
Expensive...Was happy to find it a second time in a dollar bin after all
these years.. and then found out you get it for $1 online at Diskcogs.
LOL all the crate digging you see lots of Patti Page, but not this.
Never seen it on a blog after all these years. The conductor
– Vic Schoen. not Gordon Jenkins.(Pete Rugolo
who would have had a take on this) .. And the lyrics had to change for a
lady... and there is no narration. And with a man it always seemed
possessive and phallic... So its pleasantly different, .... but is it
interesting?
This recording gets no mention when articles discuss Manhattan Tower
