Shorty Rogers and his Jazz Giants - Jazz Waltz

What is it?

An adventure in avante garde improvisational technique combined with melodic invention... a memorable aural experience...

Oh!

That's on the front cover.

Two posts in two days.. the apocalypse is approaching? No.  Was at the WICN record fair on Saturday and there a couple of collections of retired DJs... so a great opportunity to find something rare that has not been shared. Plus got my 1st case of COVID (mild) and posting while taking it easy....

Linear notes by Leonard Feather. "One hundred and fifty years ago the clergyman opposed waltzing as sinful.."...

The Discogs photos are from the mono.. This rip is stereophonic , but its ripped by me...
