PPS 2008/6008 - Percussion Parisienne - David Carroll & His Orchestra

Thank The Macs for this rip.

The series progression stops here at at #8. Anyone have "PPS 2009/6009 - Dixieland Left and Right - Johnny Best & His All Stars/Dick Cathcart & His All Stars"? Not a Space Age entry in the series.

Do you already have a hard drive or out of print rips you picked up over the years? Have a homemade mix tape you proud of? Have a complete Lounge/Exotica out of print LP you digitized and want to share? Contact me and join the blog. Share it with with the Facebook Exotica Cool and Strange Group and its associated groups.   Wordpress is very much an easy word processing system. You create a post in the "post" section". You download media (pictures and zip files) in the "Media" section. You add the media to the post. And that's it! We have 20GB on a paid shared server in Utah, And it only costs $10 a month. No free upload/download sites with advertisements and waits. Classy right? Jusy like what Basic Hip did.

Using this excellent reference” The Mercury Album Discography, Part 22: Perfect Presence Sound Series (PPM 2000/PPS 6000) 1960-1962) by By Brian Voss, David Edwards, Mike Callahan, Patrice Eyries, Randy Watts and Tim Neely Last update: January 19, 2012. So many people have created wonderful lists on the internet, groups from chat and message boards like our old Exotica Mailing List.  So we can find scans, articles and digitized RIPs of almost anything.

  1. Very Nice! Thanks for giving this series the attention that it deserves.

Along with the marvelous BSN Publications site, I find the Mercury Perfect Presence Sound Series entry at musiceureka (https://musiceureka.wordpress.com/2014/10/29/mercury-perfect-presence-sound-series/) to be both informative and entertaining!
